1. Reservation
A reservation is confirmed once a booking number has been issued by email or SMS. Until then, prices and availability are indicative only. Bookings made within 12 hours of pickup are subject to fleet availability β please call 0401 605 940 for last-minute trips.
2. Amendments
You may amend any booking detail (pickup time, address, passenger count) up to 4 hours before pickup at no charge. Amendments inside 4 hours are subject to fleet availability. Increasing passenger count beyond your booked vehicle's capacity may require an upgrade fare.
3. Cancellation
- More than 24 hours' notice: 100% refund.
- Between 4 and 24 hours' notice: 50% refund.
- Less than 4 hours' notice or no-show: No refund (the vehicle is committed).
Cancellations caused by airline cancellations, severe weather warnings, or other force-majeure events are reviewed individually β we will refund or rebook in good faith.
4. Delays & Waiting Time
For airport pickups we monitor your flight live and wait at no charge for the duration of the delay. For non-airport pickups we include 15 minutes of complimentary wait time, after which our standard hourly rate applies.
5. Code of Conduct
Drivers and passengers are expected to behave with mutual respect. Aggressive, intoxicated or threatening passengers may be refused service or removed mid-trip without refund. Drivers will not tolerate verbal abuse, racism or threats of violence.
6. Conditions of Travel
- Seat belts are compulsory at all times.
- Children must travel in an appropriate restraint β we provide them free if requested at booking.
- We carry standard luggage allowances (1 large + 1 carry-on per passenger). Excess luggage, surfboards or sports gear must be flagged at booking so we can allocate the correct vehicle.
7. Food, Drinks, Smoking & Vaping
- No hot food in any vehicle.
- Bottled water is fine β alcohol and other beverages are at the driver's discretion.
- No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes in any vehicle. A $250 detail fee applies if a vehicle requires deep cleaning after the trip.
8. Damage & Soiling
The booker is liable for cleaning costs (capped at $250) if a vehicle is soiled, vomited in, or damaged during the trip beyond normal wear and tear.
9. Liability
Unison Transfers maintains comprehensive passenger and public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the fare paid for the transfer except where Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise. We are not liable for missed flights, missed connections or other consequential losses where delay was caused by traffic, weather, or events outside our control.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share customer data with third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising from a Unison Transfers booking is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland courts.

Unison Transfers is a husband-and-wife operation based in Byron Bay. We hold a Queensland Booked Hire Service Licence (BHSL 258504), Booking Entity Authority (BEA 260412), and the dual-state authorisations needed to run continuous transfers across the QLDβNSW border. Every booking is handled by a real human (5amβ9pm AEST), every driver is one of ours, and every dollar stays local.
Our Modern Mercedes & Lexus Fleet
Every vehicle in our fleet is professionally serviced, fully insured, and chauffeured by a uniformed, accredited driver. Up to 16 passengers across the fleet β combined.
π Pre-booked, 24/7 service for any flight time. Our office hours for new bookings are 5amβ9pm AEST, but our chauffeur fleet runs around the clock. Once your transfer is locked, your driver will be on the kerb whether your flight lands at 4am or midnight β no surcharge.
